CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Capital City Athletics (CCA) was founded in 2009 and is now the only swim club in Cheyenne.

CCA has two main goals. The origination wants to teach kids how to swim for safety and it wants to compete. Boy and girl swimmers ages 7-19 compete for CCA and there are two seasons: summer and winter.

In late July, CCA made history, winning the Division I state championship. It was the first title in program history, as well as the first state title ever won by a Cheyenne club.
