CASPER, Wyo. — A motorcycle passenger from Colorado died and the driver was injured as a result of injuries sustained in a crash in Wyoming on Saturday, Oct. 22, according to a preliminary crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol identified Colorado resident Angela Mills, age 41, as the motorcycle passenger who died as a result of the crash that occurred at around 12:40 a.m. Saturday near Wheatland.
“The motorcycle was northbound on Swanson road, near the intersection with Rompoon Road, when the driver failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and exited the roadway, striking a wooden post and a temporary construction sign,” the WHP’s preliminary crash report said. “The motorcycle lost control and slid across the roadway. Both driver and passenger were separated from the motorcycle.”
Mills was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the WHP.
