CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – South played their second volleyball match in two days as they hosted East on Thursday. The Lady Bison lost to Central Wednesday on the Lady Indians’ senior night, and they were trying to bounce back against another crosstown rival.
However, it was just not meant to be for the Lady Bison. East put on an impressive showing in the first set winning it handily 25-13, and it seemed like the Lady Thunderbirds were dominating even more as the match progressed.
They took the second set with the same score as the first at 25-13, and then they turned it up another notch for what would ultimately be the final set, winning 25-8.
It was a statement sweep for East as the regular season nears a close, and they’ll try to ride the momentum Friday when they host fourth ranked Laramie.
