Supreme Court EPA ruling will have longest-lasting impact of any decision
The Supreme Court severely limited the Environmental Protection Agency’s power to curb carbon emissions on Thursday, dealing a major blow in the fight against climate change. Author and environmentalist Bill McKibben spoke with Jim Braude about the implications of the ruling, which he said will have the longest-lasting impact of any Supreme Court decision. McKibben said it undercuts any ability the U.S. has to lead in the climate fight and that the International Climate Envoy will struggle significantly to get other nations to do anything at all to curb emissions.
