Hesperornithoides Press Conference, Wyoming Dinosaur Center, 2019


You must have heard that the oldest Velociraptor-like dinosaur from North America was recently announced?!

This new dinosaur is called Hesperornithoides miessleri and was collected in Wyoming, USA. I was part of the research team that studied and formally described this specimen, effectionaltey known as ‘Lori’.

The specimen is in the collections of the amazing Wyoming Dinosaur Center, Thermopolis, Wyoming, USA.
