Mexican American War


We explore the Mexican-American War, fought between 1846 and 1848. The Mexican American War was the result Mexican anger over Texas annexation and a border dispute. At the end of the war, Mexico lost about half of its territory including nearly all of present-day California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.
