The Golden State Warriors are in a bit of an interesting situation right now.
Obviously, the team is the best in the league and just won their latest championship only a few months ago.
But they are starting to get older and that means the front office is focusing on the future as well as the present.
They have Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and other guys who have been around for more than a couple of years.
The Warriors are picking up James Wiseman’s fourth-year option, as well as Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody’s third-year options, sources confirmed to ESPN.

However, the team also has an impressive roster of young stars on the rise.

What does the team get with these guys and why did they commit to them again?
Wiseman, Kuminga & Moody
Wiseman has been on the bench for more than a year due to a knee injury so this season is really just his second in the association.
So far, he’s putting up 8.7 points and 4.4 rebounds.
This is Kuminga’s second year in the NBA and, sadly, his output has diminished from 9.3 points and 3.3 rebounds a game to 2.7 and 1.8.
Moody, on the other hand, has ticked up a bit to 6.4 points and 2.4 rebounds.
Each of these young men has a lot of room to grow and has not yet reached their potential.
The Warriors are well aware of that, which is why they have resigned all of them in hopes of helping them become even better in the years ahead.
The best news is that they will be educated and mentored by some of the greatest players alive.
