Visiting the REAL Wyoming (Pinedale): History, Green River Lakes, Pitchfork Fondue, & MORE!

After two months in Colorado, we’ve headed a little north to Wyoming, which is the first major destination we visited when we hit the road full time in our van back in August 2019. But this time, for our few adventures here, we’re focusing on spots outside of the national parks. And first up, Pinedale, WY, whose slogan is “the REAL Wyoming” and is known for its authenticity, laid back and slower pace of life, gorgeous nature and endless outdoor activities, and more.

We spent two amazing days in the area hiking, learning its history, kayaking, exploring town, and going to a unique outdoor cookout. It was a blast!
