Wyoming County sets COVID vaccine clinics | Public Service News
WARSAW — A series of COVID-19 vaccine clinics has been announced for next week in Wyoming County.
The clinics will include:
n Tuesday: Moderna and Pfizer bivalent boosters for those at least 12 years old.
n Wednesday: First-dose Moderna shots will be available for those 6 months to 11 years old. Bivalent Moderna boosters will be available for those at least 6 years old.
The clinics will take place at the Wyoming County Health Department on 5362 Mungers Mill Rd.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that can provide consent.
Those interested may schedule an appointment online at https://www.wyomingco.net/595/COVID-19.
They may also call the county’s response line at (585) 786-8911 to register.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a bivalent booster shot — which is designed provide protection against the Omicron variant — for anybody at least 12 years old.
If you are eligible for a third dose because you are severely immunocompromised, call the office at (585) 786-8890 to check availability.
There is no charge for COVID-19 vaccines.
