RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for multiple Central Virginia localities Friday evening.
The following Central Virginia localities are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6 p.m. on Friday, May 30:
- Amelia County
- Cumberland County
- Prince Edward County
- Nottoway County
A severe thunderstorm warning means that a severe thunderstorm or storms has been located in or near the impacted areas.
These storms could produce up to 60 mph wind gusts, which can damage trees and power lines.
