Alec Baldwin Breaks Down Over Rust Shooting

TLC offered the first look at Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin’s upcoming reality TV show, The Baldwins, chronicling the family’s life in New York City and all their ups, downs and all the in between. “Seven children, six animals, and two parents,” Hilaria says in a voiceover from the debut trailer released Jan. 27. “Wild family.”

And while the trailer features fun moments with Alec, 66, and Hilaria 41 and their kids Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 6, Maria, 2 and Ilaria, 2 including wrangling them inside of their home, and the 30 Rock star hilariously telling a group of his boys not to pee in the pool—it also shared insight to how the family dealt with the 2021 fatal shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, that saw Alec twice face charges of involuntary manslaughter.

“A son lost his mom in the most unthinkable tragedy,” Hilaria says to Alec about the incident that happened while they were filming the show. “This is never something to forget, and we’re trying to parent through it.”
