PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Drivers can expect delays on a section of Interstate 85 in Petersburg due to a multi-vehicle crash, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
At 2:14 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, all northbound travel lanes and the southbound left shoulder, left travel lane and right shoulder were reported closed near Squirrel Level Road on I-85 in Petersburg due to a multi-vehicle crash.
According to the department, there is about a mile and a half of traffic backups. Drivers on I-85 northbound will be diverted at Exit 63-B.
