diddy: Multiple victims’ text messages to Diddy exposed in court; black eye, physical abuse, here’s what he did to them

The prosecutors battling Diddy‘s bond release shared text messages that the mogul’s alleged victim sent him. The government’s motion asked the court to block Diddy’s third attempt to obtain a $50 million bond, as quoted in a report by In Touch.

Since his arrest on September 16 on charges of human trafficking and racketeering, Diddy, 55, has been detained in prison in New York. He entered a not-guilty plea. Diddy is a flight risk, according to the prosecution, who asked the court to keep him in custody until his trial the following year.

Diddy cited text messages from the purported victim as evidence that the relationship was a loving, at times toxic, long-term relationship between two adults who decided to mutually break up in support of his request for release.

However, prosecutors scoffed at the suggestion that the text messages produced in discovery prove the relationship in question was loving.

The prosecutors wrote that Diddy cherry-picked to paint a misleading picture, ignoring numerous other messages in the record between the defendant and Victim-1 documenting Diddy’s physical abuse of Victim-1 and his threats to expose recordings of Freak Offs.

The government pointed to text messages that the alleged victim sent Diddy that his legal team failed to mention in their motion. The government addressed Diddy’s claim that the alleged victim made allegations in an attempt to obtain a financial windfall from Diddy.

They said that the defendant has made clear that his litigation strategy is to personally attack Victim-1, stooping to any depth to attempt to undermine her credibility. They asked that Diddy not be released on bond despite his pleas.
