PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A newly renovated gym will welcome students and staff at Vernon Johns Middle School in Petersburg after fall break.
According to a post on social media by Petersburg City Public Schools, renovations in the gym include an upgraded HVAC unit, new flooring and bleachers, a new scoreboard and a new roof on the school.
Students and staff will return from break on Monday, Dec. 2.
