Gypsy Rose Shares Her Thoughts On The Menendez Brothers’ Case
On Sunday, October 13, TMZ published a video interview with Gypsy Rose, recorded at Los Angeles International Airport. Rose appeared alongside her fiancé, Ken Urker, as they appeared to be checking in for a flight. While there, the reporter asked Rose to share her thoughts on the Menendez brothers’ case.
In response, Rose explained that she hasn’t been following their case “a whole lot.”
“I’m not very educated in their case or anything,” she said.
The reporter then went on to briefly explain that Erik and Lyle Menendez were sent to prison in the late 90s for the 1989 murder of their parents. Additionally, the reporter explained that new evidence appears to support their claim that their parents abused them. Ultimately, the reporter explained that he wanted Rose’s perspective on the ordeal. To note, Rose was sentenced to ten years in prison for allegedly enlisting a boyfriend of hers to murder her mother in 2015, when she was a teenager.
Rose reiterated that she can’t speak to the brother’s case. But she explained that she is an “advocate of abuse victims in general,” and she also believes in prison reform.

Before the interview concluded, the reporter informed Rose that Kim Kardashian recently “defended” the brothers and advocated for their release from prison. In turn, Rose explained that Kardashian is a “wise woman” who “makes good decisions.”
“I think that she’s in her prison reform era, and I think she’s doing good in that area,” Rose said.
Furthermore, the reporter asked Rose to share the advice she’d give Erik and Lyle Menendez if they were released from prison.
“It’s very difficult to come out to a world that has changed so much — in even the time that I’ve spent,” Rose said. “Acclimating is a difficult thing, so I would say, take your time and adjust properly and get therapy. ‘Cause you’ll need it in this world and day and age.”
Here’s Why The Menendez Brothers Have Recently Made Headlines
As The Shade Room previously reported, the Los Angeles County District Attorney revealed his office received new evidence in the Menendez case earlier this month. The evidence reportedly is a letter that corroborates Erik’s claim of being sexually molested by his dad, Jose Menendez.
Around the same time, Kardashian penned a letter in support of the Menendez brothers. Kardashian’s letter was publicized by NBC News. Additionally, it asserted that the Menendez brothers are not “monsters.” Furthermore, Kardashian explained that the initial brothers’ claims of sexual abuse were not listened to in the 90s because of their gender.
A hearing about the case and the impact of the new evidence has reportedly been scheduled for November 29. Meanwhile, Erik Menendez is currently going viral on TikTok. Footage has reportedly been shared of his 1989 Beverly Hills High School Yearbook.
