YORK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — An Isle of Wight County man who was wanted for abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony was taken into custody by the sheriff’s office in York County on Monday.

At 12:14 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office requested the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office to be on the lookout for a suspect who was wanted in Isle of Wight County for multiple felonies, including abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Sheriff’s Office deputies found the suspect as he came into a home in the 100 block of Court Road in Yorktown.
