The Oppo Find X8 was leaked in a live shot only a few hours ago, and now there’s even more news about the Chinese company’s base model flagship that’s coming soon.
It was recently certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards, otherwise known as BIS. This pretty much ensures it will be launched in India, though it’s still unclear exactly when and at what price.
It’s probably safe to assume that the Find X8 will be released in China first, with a global launch to follow at some point after that, and India will be among the global markets to get it.
The Find X8 was also certified by SDPPI in Indonesia, so it’s headed that way too. And with Oppo’s Nokia woes behind it, we can even expect it to arrive in Europe.
According to an Oppo exec teasing the device on Weibo, the Find X8 will have a flat screen with minimal bezels, a metal frame, and an overall thinner and lighter build than its predecessor. The phone will support 50W wireless magnetic charging, and will come with a compatible case in the box.
The Find X8 is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is getting official in just a few days. It’s also been rumored to sport a OnePlus-style alert slider with three stages, a 5,700 mAh battery, 80W wired charging support, and up to 16GB of RAM.
