CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Local nonprofit organization 2 End the Stigma held a free event in Chesterfield County on Friday that provided opioid reversal training and Narcan distribution.

On Friday, Feb. 28, 2 End the Stigma’s 2nd annual Save a Life for Scott event was held at RounTrey Clubhouse in Chesterfield County, which provided free opioid reversal training and Narcan in honor of the 8th anniversary of Scott Zebrowski’s death.

Zebrowski died from fentanyl poisoning in February 2017. His twin sister, Jill Cichowicz, founded the nonprofit organization 2 End the Stigma to raise awareness about substance use disorder.

The event was in partnership with CARITAS, a nonprofit organization that creates a safe space for those experiencing homelessness or addiction to heal and time to rebuild.
