RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Animal League’s annual Kitten Shower event will take place on Saturday, providing lowered adoption fees for some cats and a supply drive to support kittens.
The Richmond Animal League’s annual Kitten Shower will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 at its Loving Spay and Neuter Clinic, located at 801 Branchway Road.
According to the Richmond Animal League, each year, shelters all around the country become flooded with kittens during what has been dubbed as “Kitten Season.”
The Kitten Shower on Saturday will help the Richmond Animal League collect supplies for all of the new kittens arriving this summer, and offer lowered adoption fees costing $50 for kittens and $25 for adult cats.
