CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Officials are investigating an incident at a Chesterfield County airport where the landing gear of a small plane reportedly caught on fire.
At 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 28, Chesterfield firefighters responded to a call for an incident at the Richmond Executive Airport in Chesterfield County, in which the landing gear of a small plane reportedly caught on fire.

Officials said the plane — a single-engine pistol plane with just one pilot — was cleared off of the runway.
Chesterfield Fire and EMS said there were no injuries, however, people are advised that they may see emergency crews in the area for the next couple of hours as officials investigate.
