Conflicting stands on bag searching
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde‘s bags were searched by Election Commission officials during the campaign trail on Wednesday, but unlike Uddhav Thackeray, who was enraged that his bags were being checked, Shinde quietly permitted his bags to be searched. Shinde told the officials that they would only find clothes in his suitcases, not a urine pot.
