RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two unrelated shootings occurred within less than one hour Wednesday evening in Richmond’s Fan neighborhood.
At 6:02 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 300 block of North Davis Avenue for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound, who was taken to the hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
Less than an hour later, at 6:42 p.m., Richmond Police officers were called to a separate, unrelated shooting at the 1900 block of Idlewood Avenue.
Officers then arrived and found another man with a gunshot wound, who was taken to the hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
Police ask that anyone with information about the shooting on North Davis Avenue call Major Crimes Detective B. Plaskett at 804-646-3431.
Detectives are not looking for any suspects in connection with the shooting on Idlewood Avenue.
