PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Department of Health’s (VDH) Crater Health District is hosting free flu vaccine clinics in the Tri-Cities area and parts of Southern Virginia in October.
The Crater Health District, which serves the cities of Petersburg, Hopewell, Emporia and Sussex, as well as the counties of Dinwiddie, Greensville, Prince George and Surry, is hosting five free clinics across the region over the course of the month:
- Petersburg Sports Complex (100 Ballpark Road, Petersburg) 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 11
- Unity Baptist Church (4951 Mt. Sinai Road, Prince George) 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 18
- Surry Community Center (205 Enos Farm Drive, Surry) 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 24
- Millard & Florence Stith Community Center (9436 Mayes Street, Sussex) 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 25
- Golden Leaf Commons (1300 Greensville County Cir B., Greensville) 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free seasonal flu vaccines will be available to anyone 3 years old or older while supplies last. A photo ID is recommended but not required. More information on the Crater Health District can be found on VDH’s website.
