GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Goochland Drive-In Theater will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of “Purple Rain,” starring Prince, with a special showing on Wednesday.
Gates will open for the event at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, and showtime will be at 8:45 p.m.
Attendees must be ages 21 and older, as Grayhaven Winery will be serving purple wine and sangria throughout the night.
Special admission is $19.99 per vehicle, which covers up to seven occupants per vehicle. Attendees are asked to arrive early, as gates close 20 minutes before showtime.
No outside food or drinks are allowed, according to the drive-in theater.
